Thoughts swam through her mind, unable to keep away the curiosity.
"What will we do about them?"
"I don't know" Tarrzar answered distantly. The sun was low in the horizon as they stopped.
"Should I go get some food?" Jesse asked worriedly.
"Yes. Food would be nice."
Jesse ventured through the woods towards a calm, sparkling lake. Fish were plentiful and plump. Jesse could only see one glowing, white wolf hunting.
Suddenly, bushes rattled near her. Had the clan planned to strike again so soon? Were they just waiting for her to be alone? Pups! Small wolf pups pounced out of the foliage. Jesse strode toward the small pups, keeping her pace small and gentle.
Reaching her hand out, the pups sniffed, kissing her hand gently.
Without warning, the pups dashed past her eyes, their own clouded by a patch of fear.
A few hours later, Jesse was struggling to come back to the campsite with the fish she had hunted. As she approached the far hill where Tarrzar lay past the trees, she dropped the fish and walked back to Tarrzar. As she reached his location, she gasped. Tarrzar was gone!

They were waiting for him to be alone.

How could it happen? Why did they take him? Did they imprison him? Or kill him? The image flashed through her mind. The cold dark night, whimpers of Tarrzar in the distant but his eyes still showing no emotion. The wolves walking toward him were shadowed in the trees, suddenly appearing, red eyes, blackened fur. Running. Then, nothing.
Jesse's feet stirred, realizing she was running, she ran faster. Dashing through the thickets of trees, mud staining her unwashed face. All she wanted...
had to do was find Tarrzar. Now.


I know this chapter is kind of boring but oh well.

Update

Hi! Okay, so, I know I haven't written a SENTENCE for Things Change and So Do People in a WHILE so expect a chapter or two in the next few days. Poems should be swarming in too! I'm doing summer reading a lot, also! I'm reading Fallen right now. Here's my list even though I know you're not interested in what I'm reading xD

Poem I Wrote...

Okay, I need to know something you guys: Is my writing getting worse? I used to be able to write these big long poems but now they're short, undescriptive. Are they still creative? Just let me know if I have improved or something.

We've been away from each other so long now
We're like two people in a big abundant crowd

How do I keep going while I can feel myself slowing the pace
The tears on my cheek scream that I need to see your face

Hope is crashing down, I need to know where you are
I need to know you're okay but maybe I should lower the bar

I miss you with all my might
Without you all I can do to stay in one piece is hug myself tight....

I MISSS YOUUUU

I hate it now! I've come back from the beach and now that I have nothing else to think about I think about my friends! I miss you all so much! I miss Corgii,Jordan,Shannon,everyone!!!! I miss my awesome teacher toooo! I think I'll draw something idk. I miss you guys! What Happens Now?

Yes, this is a vent. Most of my poems usually are. I don't know what to call it because I don't want anyone to find the reason why I wrote it (although, it may be obvious). I don't want to give out the inspiration or anything. The only thing you need to know is that it's a vent.

Now we've grown apart,
It's time to make a fresh start,
Now that the happy colors fade,
I won't fight another day.

Hello, hello, hello! Okay, I just wanted to write a little someting for everyone ♥ You guys have been the best friends ever. I've moved a lot and even though I was new and we all thought of each other as preps in the beginning, you guys welcomed everyone with open arms. I want to thank Mrs Thompson the most. Mrs. T, you helped us throughout the year. You made us a big part of who we are today. ♥ (there WILL be lots of hearts BD) You helped me accept a lot of things and you exposed us to a fun way of learning. You also helped me grasp a deeper concept of reading. I welcome every book now and if I don't like it, that's okay. You're like a second mom to everyone and an amazing teacher ♥ We fish egg you (:

Shannon, we are best friends. Even though we are fighting right now (over something stupid xD) I know we'll pull through, we always do. It Hurt When You Said That

This is a poem I wrote when one of my friends said she liked the guy that I liked...one of you knows.

It hit me like a bullet,
When you said those things to me,
But being the way I am,
I let you have him freely.

Pounding the music louder,
To get it out of my head,
Cuz' I was trying not to cry,
Hoping my thoughts had fled.

I hope you're happy,
I tried to force back the blow,
Even though you meant well,
I just can't let him go.

Things Change and So Do People (Chapter 7)

The soundless breaths of the two dreamers didn't seem to interfere with the morning's preperations, rather than the other way around. Footsteps, thoughts,awakenings,interuptions. Awake, Jesse stumbled to her feet. A trace of footprints were observed through the sleeping area. Noises...Jesse had heard them.
"Human!"
"Two-leg!" Insulted, Jesse retorted,"Who are you?!"

"We know who you are. We know what you think and we know what you did." The deep voice from the shadows was revealed, it's beholder. A muscular,black furred wolf along with a pack. He was the alpha. "And running away from daddy wasn't such a good idea."

"Why are you here?"
"We want our pack member back and you back at your twoleg place!" the wolf snarled.
"T-T-Tarrzar?"
"Up, Tarrzar!"
Tarrzar's eyes shot open. Once the scene was placed he pounced onto his paws.
"Starch, get out. No one needs, or wants, trouble. Leave us and go."
"Not so fast. The girl is not welcome here, you know that. The pack rule is no human contact."
"That's why you kicked me out!" he barked, leaping onto the pack leader.

Darkness in a soul starts small,light...still able to fight it. It's easy to see darkness in someone's eyes, the evil. That's the darkness Jesse saw through Starch, strong and indestructable.
Claws slashed about, paw connecting to face. Blood stained the forest floor. Jesse wanted to end the quarrel, the endless growling, ringing in the ears.
Taking action, she leapt onto Tarrzar's back.

"Stop!"
"I won't let them hurt you!" he growled, pouncing at his victim.
"Well, I won't let you kill yourself for me!"

The inner killer softened, faded to nothing. It was okay...for now. Tarrzar's muscles loosened in defeat.

"I'm done here."

Jesse tugged the blood stained coat and together they limped away from the tribe...and near death.

Okay, I've written a lot this weekend and drawn a picture too! I'm uploading these because I don't really get comments unless I ask. From now on, just like last time, after these posts I will not update until I get comments.

This is a poem a wrote after Fri.

Cry self pity now,
Fail to find the strength,
Finding comfort in despair,
So you won't break.

Mad at the world,
Because you tryed so hard,
I try to help,
Helping you to soar far.

Needy like a baby,
Holding yourself together,
Pulling yourself off the ground,
So you can try to do better.

I know, short. I'm gonna start writing longer poems again but not until I can update again (after the next....three posts, I think.).

Feels Like Tonight

Inspired by Chris Daughtry's Feels Like Tonight. This was before some things happened...yeah. Hope you like it. I'm not taking requests right now. The wolves aren't very creative. Me (my left) and someone else.

A Vent...So what?

I can't believe you did this,
Can't believe you tore me down,
I needed to hear a different answer,
Not the one that shattered the ground.

I guess I knew this would happen,
Knew you would say no,
Knew you would shy away,
Then rip my heart and soul.

I didn't prepare for the heartache,
Because I thought I'd had enough,
Trying to hold back my tears,
Has proven to be tough.

What do you think it's about? Don't ask me what it's about, only one of you knows. If you can guess right, sure, I'll fess up. For now, no way. I don't know why writing always makes me feel better, though. I'm not sure why anything makes me feel better; simple things, I mena. Music, drawing, writing. They take the stress away, I guess. Hope everyone did good on the EOGs.
